Self-drive tour of sustainable homes Sunday, Sep 11, 2011
Bathurst Community Climate Action Network applauds the opening of Bathurst Regional Council’s sustainable lifestyle house this Sunday and the open day from 10am to 4pm at 17 McGirr Street, Llanarth.
To coincide with this, BCCAN has devised a self-drive tour of other sustainable buildings in the area. Between 2pm and 4pm on Sunday, September 11, a BCCAN member will be on hand at each location to show visitors the green features of each building.
The properties available for inspection include the new Central West Community College building in Howick Street; a straw bale house at Wallinga; and two sustainable homes at Raglan.
